Stan Lee and Steve Ditko gave birth to a young orphan character, brought up by his aunt Mary, "Peter Parker" has been bitten by a radioactive spider during a physical experience which he took part to. Thanks to this bite, he gained many extraordinary powers, actually the strength of a human-sized spider.
